What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixels.

They help websites remember preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how pages are used.

How Frabo OS uses cookies

We group cookies by purpose:

  • Strictly necessary: authentication sessions, security (including Cloudflare Turnstile on login and signup), load balancing, and fraud prevention. These are required for core functions.
  • Functional: theme preference (light/dark), post-login redirect paths, and similar settings you choose.
  • Analytics (marketing pages only, when enabled): optional measurement tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or Hotjar, configured through environment variables on public marketing pages.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by providers we use:

  • Cloudflare — security, CDN, and Turnstile challenge cookies.
  • Stripe — checkout and billing session cookies when you pay.
  • Google / Hotjar — only when analytics IDs are configured on marketing pages.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent sign-in or checkout.

Where required by law, we will request consent before non-essential analytics cookies. You can also use browser "Do Not Track" or industry opt-out tools where available.

To stop marketing analytics on public pages, disable non-essential cookies in your browser or use opt-out tools provided by the analytics vendor.

How long cookies last

Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them. Authentication and preference durations vary by feature.
