Marketplace Fees

Frabo OS keeps Marketplace fees simple: one flat 5% commission on each completed sale. Card processing is added at checkout and paid by the buyer.

Example

For a listed price of $100.00:

  • Buyer pays: $103.30 ($100.00 listed price plus $3.30 card processing)
  • Frabo OS commission (5%): $5.00
  • You receive: $95.00

Seller Share

You receive 95% of the listed price. Sales tax, where it applies, is collected from the buyer and passed through to you; it is not part of the commission.

If a checkout is canceled or not paid, no sale takes place and no commission is taken.

No Listing Or Monthly Marketplace Fees

Frabo OS does not charge sellers to connect a store or to have products offered to buyers.

Frabo OS does not charge a monthly Marketplace fee.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe through the buyer's card. The card processing fee is added to the buyer's total at checkout, so it does not reduce your share.

Refunds For Defective Or Misdescribed Goods

A buyer may be refunded the listed price if the goods are defective, materially different from the listing, not delivered, or the sale is fraudulent. You agree to honour these refunds.

When Frabo OS refunds a buyer for one of these reasons, Frabo OS also returns its 5% commission on the refunded amount. In all other cases, including when a buyer changes their mind, your own return policy applies and Frabo OS keeps its commission. The card processing fee is not refunded by Frabo OS.

Seller Transparency

Each sale shown in your store includes:

  • Sale amount (listed price)
  • Frabo OS commission (5%)
  • Your payout (95% of the listed price)

Payout Timing

Buyers pay through Stripe Checkout. Your payout (95% of the listed price) goes to your connected Stripe account and is paid out on your Stripe payout schedule.
