Founding Operator prize draw: official rules

These are the official rules of the Frabo Founding Operator prize draw, Round 1 (the “Draw”). By entering, you agree to them. They cover Round 1 only; a later round, if any, will be run under its own published rules.

  1. 2. No purchase necessary

    Entry is free. No purchase, payment or paid subscription is needed to enter or to win, and a purchase does not improve your chance of winning. Existing Frabo customers may enter on the same terms as everyone else.

  2. 3. Who can enter

    The Draw is open worldwide where permitted by law, to business owners in countries where Frabo is offered, and void where prohibited or restricted. You are responsible for checking that entering is lawful where you live. To enter you must, at the time of entry:

    • be at least 18 years old and of legal age in the country, state, province or territory where you live;
    • own or manage a business that sells products or services and has a live website or online store, and be authorised to accept the prize on that business’s behalf;
    • not be resident in, or enter for a business established in, an excluded country or region listed in section 4;
    • not be identified on a United States government sanctions or export-restriction list, including the Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List of the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and not be owned or controlled by a person who is.

    Employees, officers, directors and contractors of the Sponsor, members of their immediate families (spouse or partner, parents, children and siblings) and people living in the same household are not eligible.

  3. 4. Excluded countries and regions

    Entries are not accepted from residents of, or for businesses established in, any of the following:

    • Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, the Crimea region of Ukraine and the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic and Luhansk People’s Republic regions of Ukraine, which are subject to comprehensive United States sanctions;
    • the Province of Quebec (Canada), Italy and Brazil, where a prize draw needs prior registration or authorisation that the Sponsor has not obtained;
    • the European Economic Area (the 27 member states of the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway), the United Kingdom and Switzerland, where Frabo is not currently offered and the prize therefore cannot be provided;
    • any other country or region where the Draw would require registration, authorisation, a bond or a local representative, or is otherwise prohibited or restricted by law.
  4. 5. Entry period

    Entries can be made from 00:00:00 UTC on 3 November 2026 to 23:59:59 UTC on 3 December 2026 (the “Entry Period”). UTC is Coordinated Universal Time. The Sponsor’s server clock is the official clock for the Draw, and an entry counts only if it is received during the Entry Period.

  5. 6. How to enter

    • Complete the entry form at https://frabo.ai/founding-operators with your full name, business name, website or store address, what the business sells, its biggest operational problem, the country or region where you live, and an email address you control. A LinkedIn profile is optional.
    • Tick the box to accept these rules and the Frabo Privacy Policy. The version of the rules you accepted, and when, are recorded with your entry.
    • Open the link that Frabo sends to that email address and press Confirm my entry. The link works for seventy-two (72) hours. An entry that has not been confirmed when the draw is run is not included in it. If the link expires before you confirm, you may enter again during the Entry Period.

    One entry per person. Only a person’s first entry counts (section 9 explains how addresses are compared). Entries by the same person under more than one email address, entries made by automated means or in bulk, and entries made through a third party are void, and the person making them may be disqualified.

    Entries that are incomplete, late, unreadable or not made through the entry form are void. The Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost or delayed for any reason. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.

  6. 7. Prizes

    • Three (3) prizes are available. Each prize is three (3) consecutive months of the Frabo Starter plan at no charge, applied to the winner’s Frabo account.
    • The approximate retail value of each prize is US$597, which is 3 months at the published Starter price of US$199 per month. The total approximate retail value of all prizes is US$1,791.
    • The prize period starts on the day the Sponsor applies the prize to the account. No payment card is needed. When the 3 months end, the account no longer has Starter features unless the winner chooses a paid plan at the standard price; nothing is charged automatically.
    • The prize is a software subscription. There is no cash alternative. A prize cannot be transferred to another person or business, sold or exchanged. The Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated prize cannot be provided.
    • A person or business can win only once, in this round or any later round; the draw leaves out an entrant who has already won. Use of Frabo is subject to the Frabo Terms of Service at https://frabo.ai/terms, which a winner accepts when opening or using their Frabo account.
  7. 8. Odds of winning

    The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible, confirmed entries received during the Entry Period. With N eligible entries, and N of at least 3, each entry has a 3 in N chance of being drawn as a winner.

  8. 9. How the draw works

    • The draw is run by the Sponsor’s system, not chosen by a person, within seven (7) days after the Entry Period closes, and no later than 10 December 2026.
    • Before the Entry Period opened, the system generated a secret random seed of 32 bytes from a cryptographically secure random number generator, and published its SHA-256 fingerprint (the “seed commitment”) on the program page and at https://frabo.ai/api/public/founding-cycle. The seed itself stays secret until the draw.
    • The draw includes every entry received during the Entry Period through the entry form, with the rules accepted and confirmed through the emailed link. Entries from the same person count once: addresses are compared in lower case, without any +tag, and for Gmail without dots, and the earliest entry is kept.
    • Each included entry gets a score: the SHA-256 hash, written in lower-case hexadecimal, of the text formed by the seed, a vertical bar (|) and the entry’s email address in lower case with surrounding spaces removed. Entries are ranked by score, lowest first.
    • Ranks 1 to 3 are the potential winners. Ranks 4 to 6 are the reserve entries, in that order.
  9. 10. How to check the draw

    • After the draw, the seed is published at https://frabo.ai/api/public/founding-cycle. Anyone can compute the SHA-256 hash of the published seed and check that it equals the seed commitment published before entries opened. A match shows that the seed was fixed before any entry was received and was not chosen afterwards.
    • Any entrant can compute the score of their own entry with the formula in section 9. Entry email addresses are not published, so the full ranking is not public. The Sponsor keeps a record of each draw, including the number of included entries and the ranked winners and reserve entries.
  10. 11. Winner notification and confirmation

    • The Sponsor emails each potential winner at the confirmed entry address within seven (7) days after the draw.
    • A potential winner must reply within fourteen (14) days after that email is sent, accepting the prize and confirming that they meet these rules, including the country and region where they and their business are based. The Sponsor may ask for reasonable proof of identity, age, residence and business before confirming a winner.
    • A potential winner resident in Canada (outside Quebec) must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question, without assistance of any kind, before being confirmed as a winner. The question is set by email or during a video call at a time agreed with the Sponsor.
  11. 12. Reserve entries

    A potential winner forfeits the prize if they do not reply in time, cannot be reached at the entry address, decline the prize, fail the skill-testing question, are found ineligible or do not comply with these rules. The prize then passes to the highest-ranked reserve entry not yet used, who is notified and confirmed in the same way. If every reserve entry has been used, that prize is not awarded.

  12. 13. Receiving the prize, and what winners are asked to do

    To receive the prize, a confirmed winner completes Frabo’s onboarding (business details, the website address, and a tax identification number such as an EIN or a VAT number) and installs the Frabo pixel on the business’s live website. The Sponsor applies the prize when onboarding is complete.

    For the first 90 days of the prize period, each winner is asked to run Frabo with real business activity, to share honest feedback, and to allow anonymised results to be used as case studies. A case study does not name the winner or the business without separate permission.

  13. 14. Taxes

    Each winner is solely responsible for any tax, duty or reporting due on the prize where they live. The Sponsor may ask for a tax form where the law requires one.

  14. 15. Publication of winners and winners list

    After the draw, the Sponsor asks each confirmed winner for permission to publish their name and business name on the program page. Giving or refusing permission does not affect the prize. Only winners who give permission are named; no other personal details are published, and reserve entries that do not take a prize are never named.

    For the list of winners, email [email protected] with the subject “Founding Operator winners” within twelve months after the draw.

  15. 16. Personal data

    The Sponsor uses entry details to run the Draw: to confirm entries, check eligibility, contact potential winners, apply prizes and publish winners as described above. When an entry is confirmed and a Frabo account already uses the entry email address, the entry is linked to that account. No account is opened by entering; a winner without one opens it through the normal sign-up.

    Entries that do not win are deleted 90 days after the draw. The draw record keeps only the names and business names of the winners and reserve entries. Entry details are handled under the Frabo Privacy Policy at https://frabo.ai/privacy and are not sold.

  16. 17. Cancellation, suspension and changes

    If fraud, a technical failure, a security breach, tampering or any other cause outside the Sponsor’s reasonable control affects the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Draw, the Sponsor may cancel, suspend or modify the Draw and disqualify anyone responsible. Where it is fair to do so, the Sponsor may award the prizes by a draw among the eligible entries received before the problem began. Any such decision is posted on the program page.

    The Sponsor’s decisions on all matters relating to the Draw are final, to the extent permitted by law.

  17. 18. Limitation of liability

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Sponsor and its officers, employees and agents are not responsible for technical, network, email or system failures; for entries that are lost, late, incomplete or misdirected; or for printing, typographical or system errors in the Draw. They are not liable for any loss or damage arising from entering the Draw or from accepting or using a prize, and by entering you release them from such claims.

    Nothing in these rules excludes or limits any liability, or any right you have, that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

  18. 19. Governing law

    These rules and the Draw are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are resolved individually in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, except where the law of the place you live gives you a right to bring proceedings elsewhere that cannot be waived.

    If any part of these rules is found invalid, the rest remains in effect. If these rules and any other description of the Draw differ, these rules apply.
